This page explains what information Nightframe collects when you visit nightframe.dev or get in touch with us, and what we do with it. We've kept it short and in plain English. If anything is unclear, email us at hello@nightframe.dev.
Who we are
Nightframe is a small studio in Sydney, NSW, that builds event software and automation. When this page says "we" or "us", it means Nightframe.
When you visit this website
Our own code doesn't set cookies, and we don't use analytics, advertising trackers or social media tracking on this website.
Our website is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare handles technical information that every browser sends, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. Cloudflare may process this information outside Australia. You can read how Cloudflare handles it in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Cloudflare may also set a small cookie to tell real visitors apart from bots. Cloudflare says it uses this for security, not advertising.
When you email us
If you email us, we receive your name, your email address and anything you include in your message.
We use this only to reply to you, talk about work you might want us to do, and keep normal business records. We don't sell it, rent it or share it for anyone else's marketing.
We don't put your emails into AI tools unless you've agreed. Passwords and sensitive information never go into AI tools.
Our email is provided by Google Workspace, so your message is stored by Google, which may store it outside Australia.
We won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to. If you ever do get marketing emails from us, every one will include a way to unsubscribe.
Please don't send us sensitive information
To start a conversation we only need your name, how to reach you and what you'd like built. Please don't email us passwords or logins, or health, medical or identity documents. If a project ever needs access to one of your systems, we'll agree a safer way to set that up first.
Instagram and Facebook
If you follow, comment on or message our Instagram (@nightframe_au) or Facebook Page, Meta's privacy policy applies to what you share there. We can see what you post publicly and the messages you send us, and we use them only to reply. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
How long we keep it
We keep emails only as long as we need them to reply, carry out any work we agree on and meet our record-keeping obligations. After that, we delete them.
Who can see it
Right now, only our founder can access our email and business accounts.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you
- correct it
- delete it, unless we have to keep it by law
Email hello@nightframe.dev and we'll aim to reply within 30 days.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can try to fix it. General information about privacy in Australia is available from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this page
If what we collect or how we use it changes, for example if we add a contact form, we'll update this page and the date at the top first.
